A disagreement instrument for images.
Literal sameness is not structural kinship.

Raw LZ-NCD estimate
Symmetric compression-distance estimate. Not clamped.
Anchored substrate
Pair distance corrected by the mean A/B self floor and scaled toward their scramble/noise anchors.
VTL form delta
Mean absolute delta over nine canonical spatial metrics.
Witness divergence
Descriptive coordinate gap between two normalized witnesses; not a calibrated statistic.
Substrate anchors
Raw compression distance means little without reference. These anchors are computed from image A under the same normalization and LZ estimator.
Self floor A / B
Estimator-specific identity baselines; may be nonzero for highly compressible fields.
Shuffle A / B
Same bytes with sequence structure destroyed.
Noise A / B
Independent far references for each image.
Tone delta
Cosine distance between luminance histograms.
Center dependence
Center behavior is reported as separate observables rather than collapsed into a “refusal” score. Structural mass is the canonical Sobel-mask mass, not dark-pixel occupancy.
A centroid displacement
Distance of structural centroid from frame center, normalized by farthest corner.
B centroid displacement
Same measurement for B.
A center enrichment
Central structural-mass share divided by central disk area share. 1 = uniform expectation.
B center enrichment
Below 1 = center depleted; above 1 = center concentrated.
RCA-2 radial compliance
Radial profiles are fit independently around frame center and structural-mass centroid to an exponential falloff family using Jensen–Shannon divergence in base 2.
A RC frame / mass
B RC frame / mass
A ΔRC
Positive favors mass-centered radial order.
B ΔRC
Negative favors frame-centered radial order.
Canonical VTL spatial fingerprint delta
Browser port of the Color Kernel v0.4.8 definitions: Sobel structural mask, centroid offsets, void ratio, convex-hull packing, connected-component cohesion, peripheral pull, orientation stability, structural thickness, and spatial dispersion. No per-axis scale hacks are applied because all nine canonical deltas naturally lie in [0,1].
The browser port is intended to reproduce the notebook definitions, but numerical equality across SciPy/scikit-image and browser implementations should still be validated on a fixed corpus before publication-grade claims.
Structural mass field
A · black = structural mask · red cross = weighted structural centroid · gray cross = frame center
B · same conventions. Aspect ratio is preserved for VTL analysis; no square letterbox is imposed.
