Visual stages, comparisons and decisions from the original run. Internal prompts, operating documents and downloadable implementation files are omitted. Some interactive comparisons are shown as separate images.
Draw the question.
Castle, path, sunset. Sixteen locally rendered thumbnails, with critique between sets. No new generator images.
Observation, not Hold. The comparisons changed decisions, but the drawing construction remains too schematic for a justified handoff. The number sixteen is not a success claim.
Set 1

What the actual set revealed

Sky outweighs arrival
Can a small destination and a low land strip sustain attention without a grand silhouette?
Low horizon changes attention; sky slab and bright road stay schematic.

Earth compresses the route
Can a high horizon and close banks make ascent felt rather than merely indicated?
Strong pinch, but the route is a white lightning bolt between dark banks.

Road crosses the slope
Does a passing road leave the castle consequential or incidental?
Opposed route/slope directions; detached castle needs a removal test.

Light crosses the climb
Can opposed light and route directions give the ground an active role?
White crossing reads as a second road: an X, not low light.

Castle belongs to shadow
Does merging the building with its ridge give it weight without emblematic isolation?
Building and ridge share a mass. Risk of an emblem on a stripe.

Near dark, far opening
Does framing the distance with near land intensify it or merely stage a picturesque view?
Near dark frames a picturesque destination. Reject theatrical escalation.
Set 2

What the actual set revealed

Passing road with castle
Does the building anchor the long slope?
Castle adds scale but barely changes the passing-road organization.

Same land, no castle
What is lost when the building alone is removed?
Diagnostic without castle: broad composition largely survives. Not a final response to the brief.

Building absorbed by ridge
Can one shared dark shape keep the building present?
Shared ridge/building boundary is worth investigating. White gulf and cutout geometry remain unresolved.

Building detached by light
Does revealing the base clarify presence or turn it into an emblem?
Light under the castle detaches it into a badge; do not select.

Shadow crosses ascent
Does the crossing bind road to terrain instead of creating an X?
Cross-shadow adds slight contact but remains an applied stripe.

Same ascent without crossing
Does removing the shadow lose anything consequential?
Without crossing the route is cleaner, still diagrammatic.
Set 3

What the actual set revealed

Ridge built by strokes
Can loaded strokes join the building to land?
Direct strokes split the land into strips; castle is notation. Not a successful drawing.

Withheld tower edge
How much castle definition can the ridge carry without a badge?
Partial tower-edge lifting changes little because its construction is too weak to test the premise.

Cross-shadow in strokes
Does a softer tonal crossing read as ground rather than a second road?
Crossing becomes a linking line; route and terrain are insufficiently established.

Same land, uncrossed
Is the crossing actually needed for the climb?
Cleaner without the crossing, but missing ground. Not handoff-ready.
Evidence and next question
09 keeps ridge and building together better than 10. It still needs connected ground and a credible path, developed through actual native passages rather than a generator finish. The direct-stroke attempts did not establish those relationships. No direction has been approved for reconstruction.
