Then invite a little company.
Draw with a mouse, finger, or pencil. The partner waits for an invitation.
Touch mode: pull a recorded endpoint to invite a continuation. The newest source stroke and its next answer stay linked: pull the highlighted endpoint to reshape that pair. Drawing or erasing again settles it into the page. Tap elsewhere in Touch mode to invite a mass answer. Draw first. Choose an invitation, then tap the paper. With pick-and-place, new marks arrive as a proposal: keep them, ask for another, or let them go. You can pause an answer by pressing Escape and keep only the marks that have arrived.
Continue follows the tangent at a nearby end of your own drawn line. Answer makes a small contrasting patch where you tap, scaled from nearby ink. Follow echoes the local direction and curvature; Challenge adds crossing directions and different arrangements. Reserved rectangles remove every partner pixel inside them; you can still draw there yourself.
Draw together answers automatically after every stroke, after three strokes, or after a 1.3-second pause, up to six marks per response. You can alternate edge continuations and nearby masses, or choose one. Each answer is its own undo step. Starting another stroke cancels a waiting response. Escape switches automatic mode off. It never responds to its own marks.
Select a specific Mark type or mix the whole hand. Response shape chooses sweeps, scattered accents, crossing marks, clusters or curves. Varied explores a different arrangement each answer; Mark variation changes the width, length and shape of the marks, and the character of mass replies: a whisper, a broad reach, scattered air or a fuller burst. How much company sets a maximum; the partner can answer with fewer marks.
Your brush can use the selected hand and mark through the same material renderer, or a simple pencil. The partner remembers its last four answers, avoids recent arrangements, and occasionally transforms an earlier motif elsewhere. Automatic mode leaves dense areas alone and takes a listening turn when its last answer is still nearby. The seven hands supply measured mark vocabularies and the original material renderer. These are geometric experiments, not an artist simulation or an understanding of your subject. The canvas never leaves this browser.
Adjust proposals with Move, Rotate and Scale before keeping them. Kept answers gently favor their arrangement; Another and Let go reduce that preference. Reset preferences starts fresh. Named drawing sessions save your drawing and its preferences in this browser. Save project keeps the image, your line paths, spaces, and accepted-turn notes. Open restores it or imports a reference image. Browser storage keeps the latest page when available.
